Baby It's Cold Outside

It really is. It's only hit 2 degrees today and I had to leave the car running for almost ten minutes for it to defrost properly (I know I am probably single handedly destroying the planet but you try scraping the car at the same time as preventing small children from diving under a passing timber lorry).

Still, whilst the big ones were at nursery we bundled up the little ones and headed off for a walk, which although a little on the bracing side was actually quite pleasant due to the lack of children moaning. After nursery Satans Minions were sat down for lunch and took a staggering 45 minutes to eat a bowl of lentil soup and a wrap. Mainly due to the amount of time they spent kicking each other, spitting at each other, calling each other poo poo and then running through to clipe about said misdemeanours (yes I have heard of troupes of feral monkeys behaving in a more civilized manner). When they eventually did finish I showed them all the cake they would have been getting had they behaved and then sent them off to play whilst I put it away. Harsh but justified I feel.

After their antics we were sorely tempted to ban the lot of them from going to Little Kickers but by that point we had pretty much had as much as we could take and decided to make them someone elses problem for a while. This is Katy passes out in her car seat. Hooray for fresh air!
