Girls Day... Shopping
Mum & I very rarely get the opportunity to do the girly shopping day... Today we managed to and it was GREAT!!!
I have a ball and a wedding to go to within the next 4 weeks so we were very much on a mission.
(Unfortunately as I was doing this the iphone was starting to run out of battery... good job we can edit on pc!)
We set off early from Mums and headed down the M62 to the shopping outlet at Castleford Glasshouton. Great place!
We set personal records today... the first being on a girly shopping day and both of us feeling well (usually one of us is not well in some way and I remember this being so right from the age of 9) and the second having arrived at 9.30am I had both outfits purchased by 11.30am albeit a pair of shoes for one outfit and underwear for the ball outfit (poss 2 much info there... sorry!). The pair of shoes were then purchased in Grimsby later in the afternoon and the latter purchase is still on going... no pictures when resolved!!
The outfits may get blipped in the near future... until then they are under wraps! For those that know me there isn't a fleece, jeans, tracksuit (PE teacher!!), t'shirt, trainers or any attire for enjoying the outdoors in sight! I am going to look very girly for both events, I can't wait!! Though the wedding I have opted for a trouser suit rather than a dress as its winter!
We did lunch before leaving to head for Grimsby which was great as I paid and its a while since I have been able to do that. It felt good to be able to do it and treat my Mum.
Mum and I had a really fantastic day... made me realise we don't do this enough!
I am biased but my Mum really is the best in the world and with her and R I have a fantastic team that I appreciate and love with all my heart! I am lucky and I know it!
Quality time with mum is precious, special and it totally... ROCKS! Thanks Mum!
