A lady that lunches!!!

As you can tell I'm back up at home... I'm here as I had to take the Henrinator in to have the clutch looked at! It's been slipping for a few weeks now and after last weekend we decided that it needed to be looked at so I have brought it here to my Mums where there is a fantastic mechanic who I trust implicitly to give me an honest answer, service and overall an honest price!

Having got there early this morning expecting them to say the worst and keep the car till Monday they were incredibly brilliant to my relief and my bank account! One of the mechanics took it for a drive with me and he really put the Henrinator through his paces and the conclusion was that yes the clutch will need doing BUT it can wait a while longer. Its not dangerous, its not effecting the gear changes, the slipping is intermittent, in fact no matter how he tried he actually couldn't get it to do it although I know it does and so does R as it was doing it for him too and therefore right now it is actually better to leave it! Not only that we went through all the options, facts and figures, he was as straight on the line as anyone can be and I came away extremely happy! I now have the time to save for the clutch to be done rather than my bank account having a sudden coronary! I know it will cost some when it has to be done but I know it will be done well and that it is worth every penny and pound!

I then went to spend the morning with my Nan and Laddie, had lunch with my Mum, back to my Nans and then went home to Mums. A lovely, lovely day!

The other good news... as I have the car I will be available for work on Monday! Happy Days!!
