What Mud? Prove I Was Digging!
Started today with quickly waking the kiddos up because I realized my grocery supply had diminished, meaning they would have a fast-food morning on the way to school. Bad mommy! It was off to Del Taco for the $2 break-fiesta meals times 3. I hope I'm not harming their little bodies....how bad could breakfast burritos be?
Realization set it that I needed to go to the dreaded grocery store as my first 'chore' of the day. Bleh! Picked up a bunch of stuff for us and my dad's pantry and unloaded them at my home and then at his. Hard to believe, but by the time I was done doing that (and packing a few things)...it was time to get the kids from school! Minimum Days are a killer....all week of that due to conferences. Liam's conference went well today. He is doing well in all aspects, and as usual, we set his goals with the teacher. He has one for writing, one for reading, one for math and one personal goal. He did well in preparing them. At the next conference the teacher checks in to make sure he has accomplished his goals and then he'll set new ones. I was thankful to Rich for picking Loren up from school so that I could go to the conference at the other school.
Tonight is Kidz Inc. The family always loves those funny skits, and it's the last one of the year....so we are headed out to that.

My blip photo is of Scout again. When I left him to get groceries, I came home to see mud all over his face. I'm still afraid to go see where he dug in my parent's yard. I suspect he was hiding his new bone, since that's the only time he digs. He had that look like "What did I do?" It has been too much of a hassle for me to carry his big crate to my parent's house every morning, so he's a little out of his element when left alone. If I leave him in the house with my dad while I'm gone, I'm afraid he'll jump on the leg my dad just had surgery on!
