T-Birds vs. Merced

When I look at this picture I can't believe how fast my boy has grown. Another 1/2" this month alone. From the beginning of last school year (6th grade) to fall of this school year (7th grade)....he has gone from 5'2" - 5'7 3/4". Crazy! Today he played his last game of the Fall season against Merced. The Thunderbirds beat this team 3-1 today. Found out this evening that our team came in first place in the U13 Competitive Division......and this is our teams first year of comp! Wow! I like how this pic shows off Loren's new blue faux-hawk in honor of his team's colors. :-)

Today was Day 1 of Liam's end-of-season tournament and we packed up for a FULL day of games. One for Liam at 11:15, one for Loren at 2:30 and another for Liam at 3:55. Gary made a yummy breakfast for the kids and for Chris, and then packed BLTs for our lunch out at the field. Liam's team won the first game 4-0 in a shutout and the second game 7-0 in another shutout for the day!!!! Looking forward to day 2 of the tournament tomorrow to see if the Sharks will take the victory!

During all of these games, Landon played with all the siblings of the soccer players, mainly girls. They had him playing with their Ken doll while their Barbies were "marrying" him. Their Barbies even married Landon's Batman. HAHAHA He is such a good sport being dragged to his brother games, but he makes out ok in the end because he goes from person to person getting different kinds of snacks.
