The kitchen's looking lovely, but the lounge - not so good, seeing as it's storing all the kitchen stuff at the moment. So the next job, once the fitter has finished off all the little bits still to do tomorrow, is to put the stuff back in the kitchen. Although that involves deciding where to put everything which is never easy! There seem to be a lot of cupboards at the moment, but I'm sure that they will fill up all too quickly and I won't have enough space.

Another evening at Japanese class tonight. I'd like to say that I feel that I'm getting somewhere, and maybe I am, but it's slow progress, particularly when my old brain is finding it so hard to learn all the characters. Mind you, the last couple of weeks I haven't spent much time on it, so I need to make sure I get some practice in every day from now on.
