Tate

After a couple of meetings in London today, I decided to pay a visit to the late night opening of Tate Modern. It turned out to be rather a later night than I'd intended! There are not any particularly close stations to Tate Modern, so I ended up walking quite a long way to get to and from it, compounded by the shutting of the walkway by the Thames in a couple of places that involved a long detour.

Anyway, visited the Taryn Simon exhibition there, which I didn't know much about but was very pleasantly surprised and spent quite a while looking at. Also watched the Tacita Dean video installation in the Turbine Hall, but wasn't so certain about that one.

Time for bed now - another busy weekend coming up!
