Nightfall

Down at Dynamic Earth for a work conference all day, nipped out over lunch to one of the most photogenic bits of Edinburgh - Dynamic Earth itself, Scottish Parliament, Salisbury Crags, Arthur's Seat - enough photographs taken but strangely unsatisfied with the results, plenty of umming and aahing ensued.

Far better the journey home through a rain-lashed city centre with slick, wet roads and night falling. Spontaneous and fortuitous blip in the end.

Considered a cinema trip out (third night running, who am I kidding?) Lovely bit of evening listening in the kitchen instead with the most recent Marissa Nadler album 'Little Hells'.
