And Witches and Pumpkins. As the kids missed the local halloween party yesterday we took them to Asda and bought them each an outfit. Abi spent the day happily dressed as a witch and Katy not so happily as a pumpkin. She didn't mind the suit so much but absolutely hated the hat.

We also had a visit from my friend Emma and her two girls. We didn't have terribly long as we were heading back up north but it was good to have a catch up.

Had a surprisingly good journey up- both the girls slept for virtually the whole trip, which was a big relief considering Katy had screamed for 90 minutes solid on the way down. Never has a stream of oncoming headlights seemed so attractive.
