Amazing Progress

Landon started kindergarten at the end of July not knowing any of his phonics and with almost no letter recognition. Here we are the first part of November and he recognizes upper case & lower case letters, all the letter sounds and can write a few complete sentences on his own. I am so very proud of his progress. My blip photo is of a classwork assignment that he didn't finish and had to complete for homework tonight. I thought it would be a perfect example of his progress. I guess I was worried for nothing. He's caught up! I'm hoping his attention span now catches up soon so that he doesn't have to do both classwork AND homework at night! Poor guy!

This evening was Loren's first parent/teacher conference for middle school. Instead of meeting with all of his teachers, one teacher meets with you. His math teacher was the one. She had all glowing things to say about him, went over his grades and even asked if he was bored! To hear these things makes a parent glow too. We're so proud of you Loren.
