Crescendo

St. Mary's is a smallish coastal town in the extreme southeast corner of Georgia. This is a fountain on the waterfront.

Unfortunately, I found it nearly impossible to choose between the fountain here and this completely different shot (well, there were several, but it came down to these two):

The Fountain gets the edge, but just.

(And maybe that's just because I love the movie....)

(And no, I have no idea what it meant - or exactly how it all fit together - it's just so incredibly cool, in its beautiful, teasing opaqueness....)
