Poppy Day

Golf today was in aid of the British Legion Poppy Appeal, we raised nearly 300 euros, which was gratefully accepted by one of our members who belongs to the local branch of the British Legion.

We also run a 2's comp, of which I won 6 euros, I got my 2 on the par 4 5th hole, nice drive then used an 8 iron to get the ball over the trees onto the green and it kindly rolled into the hole, job done.
