Call of Duty Black Ops

The lóng awaited launch, worldwide, was today! R jnr was só excited about it, but he did not ask! He still had to write his last paper for the year at 11:00 this morning and he knew there was just NO WAY his parents would take him to the launch at midnight last night! He has, in fact, never experienced a launch yet!

But, C&Rsnr made a plan in the background!! They could not even consider taking him last night, because it would mean returning back to Hartbeespoort from Johannesburg after midnight, and we must respect the fact that he writes an exam paper today, and besides that, R snr must stand in front of a class today as well, but there was another nice way of doing it!!

We told R jnr last night that we must go to Northgate Shopping Mall in Johannesburg to shop for ideas for my new diet, and he will have to go with us, because we are a wee bit worried to be back a bit late for his exams, but if he is in the car with us, we can drop him at school when we return, iso coming home to fetch him, which will take up another twenty to thirty minutes!!

Só, off we went just after 07:00 this morning, negotiating the peak traffic to Jo'burg as well as heavy rain!! When we reached the Mall, C asked him: R, do you remember where BT Games Store is in this mall? He said yes, and she said: Well, rún boy, the launch in this Mall is at nine and we are in a hurry to return on time for your exams!! He was dumbstruck, he could not believe that we would do something só out of the ordinary, just to surprise him with this game!!

What a pleasure to see him appreciating it só much, and we felt he deserved something he wanted só badly, because he worked só hard for the exams!

The traffic was much calmer on the way back and the rain had calmed down, we made it back home 45 minutes early for his exams, and he is a vérrrry happy guy tonight! ;-)
