Too Early?
Surely. Or is it just me. Surly.
A certain department within our esteemed institution has deemed the season to be festive by installing this within their office. Halloween's been done to death, and Bonfire Night's lost it's sparkler so it therefore now must be Christmas.
Apart from around the shops and seller's of settees on TV (who deemed the season to be festive some time in late September) this is the first decorated Christmas tree I've spotted out in the wild.
Now, I like Christmas as much as the next curmudgeon, but this is stretching the goodwill to all men (and woman) tradition as thin as the sliced turkey on a work's night out. Even my twelve year old feels it's too early to be seeing Christmas Trees around; although for him I think it's the fear of fainting through the hype induced excitement that's maybe worrying him. He'll explode before the end of November at this rate.
All together now...
Bah... ?
Apologies for the quality in this shot, it's taken from a distance through two layers of very murky glass whilst balanced on a staircase
