Vitamins

This is just outside my office in Dakar and although the climate and soil is ideal to grow most of the produce, the apples and bananas are imported from Morocco and the oranges from Spain. With the roads so bad across rural parts of the country, these fruits never reach tiny villages where people are in desperate need of vitamins. And of course, there's no government incentive to grow locally what with the prices being so cheap n all.

I didn't stay long because the vendor thought I was a bit strange...
