Contrast

Here's a pretty picture of the swimming pool as it blurs into the Atlantic at the Raddison Blu Hotel in Dakar. Seems a million miles away from the poverty I've just experienced less than 30 miles away. For me, the heat, the dust and the lack of vegetables make this place difficult, but the massive inequality between rich and poor make it nauseating. Mind you, it didn't stop me from having an amazing day swimming...I'm a lucky lady.
