wanna go for a ride?
oh, yeah!
I had just snapped a quick couple pictures of our partial rainbow & was ready to post one when Rachelsmom called to see if I had some time to try the beach. oh,yeah! I'll post my rainbow piece when I get back..
..70 snaps later and the piece of rainbow slid to the bottom of the pile.
- There will be more rainbows and better snaps of them.
We stopped at Devil's Elbow and then a couple rest stops and then Heceta Beach. The seagulls were fun. but I couldn't catch one soaring as much as I tried.
There was a sad seal dying on the beach. Didn't want a sad picture.
and then the sun started to set! oh, my. The shadows and reflections on the clouds & on the water were outstanding, yet my camera never captured quite what I was looking at.
We headed back - & the sunset pulled us in again. The rays fanning out below. The clouds erupting all around. each minute better that the last.
A whole bunch of seals called our attention on the rocks on the beach below the rest stop, hard to tell the rocks from the seals. everything seemed to be moving down there!
As we were pulling into town the sunset kept peaking at us from the west - so bright. so awesome! the gold & orange.
what a world I live in! Life is good.
