So Who's the Daddy?!!

My girl had gymnastic today. The entire gym is covered with graffiti of the highest calibre. This one always catches my eye. Its is so at odds with the delicate little sparkly leotards that flit around the sprung floor. As always I offered to put on my leotard, because I can do all the moves they can and more .... in my head at least. I was refused once more. There are only so many times a girl can be generous without feeling a bit bruised!

Another quick Sunday (and weekend) has flown by. A bit of this and that and then a quick walk with my girl. She was grumpy, as I have been all week, so we battered each other for a while with our tongues and then called a truce. She was quite cross with my game of lets find out why you're so grumpy. Apparently it was silly and childish and I should know better? Some people want it all their own way.

I knew the solution to get us smiling though. We were walking through the grounds of a nearby university and campus. They have several apple trees which no-one relieves of the burden of heavily laden apples. For some years now we have come here and thrown fallen apples at the trees in order to get the others off and into our bags for some home-made deliciousness. Its a great stress reliever. Although I do hope she understands that stealing is bad - but this isn't stealing really - is it?

At home I chopped the apples while she made the crumble topping. As she tasted the apples, her mouth dropped and her eyes widened -
' Its just like drinking in heaven' she said.
I though this was a wonderful description and a lovely moment.

P.S. Took the camera on the walk and left the bloody memory card at home AGAIN! Please can I have my brain back this week.
