An afternoon in Toxteth

My daughter (the one upside down) and her partners, competed in an acrobatic gymnastics competition in Toxteth, Liverpool today. They performed beautifully and I'm so proud of her.

They didn't place very highly in their group, as their tariff of difficulty was lower than the maximum, but they gained experience of competing at a higher level. Part of why I'm so proud of my daughter, is that although she's young, she understands that not everyone can get a medal everytime!

I was surprised, and very pleased to see all the comments for my last two entries. Thank you for your support, I'm feeling much more positive. I can't comment tonight, as Lottie, one of our cats, has come in with an injury to her eye that needs attention. Could be at the vets tomorrow!
