Of firsts

I've been putting it off for a while - but finally decided to face it today. My first attempts at making a subzi (generic name for Indian dish comprising of only vegetables) are there for you to see. Didn't have any ready-made spices so decided to mix up whatever green stuff I had with me. I write this after having finished my dinner and I'll have to say that the results weren't too discouraging !

Of course I'll have to add many more preparations to my repertoire. But for now I think its been well begun. Will be encouraged to be more adventurous in my selection of vegetables when I visit the market next
