Election Day

Probably there are few unaware that it's the Midterm elections today. I had planned on popping over to the school to take a picture of the polling station...that I can't use. However, seeing as the children have the day off, they didn't want to go anywhere near the school.

Instead we have had an almighty leaf fight and finally explored the 2 1/2 acres of woods that belong to our house, but have a pretty steep drop to get into. Sadly, I didn't take my camera with me as we found a sleeping racoon...did you know racoons sleep with their butts hanging out of trees? No, neither did I. Now, I just need to get these leaves out of my hair.
