And down they fall

Playing with the children and the pup this afternoon, it struck me that the garden was already looking very different to how it did here . The garden is awash with leaves and the trees are looking barer and barer. Which means that it is only about a month until we get our first decent dump of snow. How can it be almost winter already when I've only just packed away the summer clothes?!!
