Firewood

Just as we collected up our pump and pipes this evening the daily hoard of women were trudging home with firewood.
The Good Morning Mr John did it, so I turned for the shot.
Women and even very young girls seem to be on the road all day every day carrying huge loads of firewood, for cooking.
Today was hot an full as usual, but it's sad that on one's very large numbered birthday that one ends up cleaning out the toilets in Áras Kate. Seems that in Malawi this is a job for some type of underclass.
Well is was Benidicto and myself today, obviously not smelling of roses, but we got the job done!!
