Pool View

Instead of hustling back to Indio, CA after our usual Friday night volleyball match (see blip foto from yesterday), we spent the night in Long Beach so we could spend a little quality time with our daughter.

Even though the weather had been predicted to be wet and cold, we awoke to beautiful sunshine. This early morning view of our hotel pool was taken before any of the children staying in the hotel could disturb the tranquility of the scene. Swimming the last weekend of October is something we could never have considered when we lived in Washington State, yet it is common occurrence here in Southern California.
