Lurgies.

Back to the Montrose basin early this morning to explore. I parked at the Old Montrose Pier and walked toward the Bridge of Dun about 2km. I spotted this beautiful group at an area known as the Lurgies.

I think this may be one of my favourite places to visit extremely beautiful and ever changing. It seems that the geese are not flying off on mass this year but more in dribs and drabs the goose count this morning approximated 79,000 geese on the basin!
