More project work

A real spurt this week on the project. Mr EG tutored in wheel building and then fettled when I got as far as I could. Tonight we used the appropriate lubricant for wheel builiding, English ale. Obviously the lubricant selection depends upon the wheel, a Capag wheel would require a Nastro Azzurro, however this was a 1951 Sturmey Archer Hub, so Old Speckled Hen fitted the bill.

Quote of the evening goes to Mr EG who declared

'drinking the wrong beer whilst wheel building would be as bad as pairing English jam with French Cheese in a sandwich!'
