Experimenting

Today was apparently the first day of my new life. A bubbly colleague gave me a bracelet this morning. It's a rather fetching purple and is inscribed with "A Complaint Free World.org". I've noticed how for some people, complaining is a way of life. I hope I'm not one of those. I've had it on my wrist for about 10 hours and so far have complained 3 times (twice of them in my mind about myself). I don't think that's too bad going! We are to wear the bracelets for 21 days (which is apparently as long as it takes to break a habit or form a new one). We'll see!

I went to work today and sniffed my way around the place. I made sure I aimed a few well-timed sneezes at some of my students! Only joking, of course I didn't really. I made sure I didn't spread my germiness around and steered clear of men (thanks Hope for the tipoff - no manflu contracted, I hope.)

I decided to have a wee play, both with my camera and with Photoshop today. I quite like the effect, although it wasn't exactly what I was aiming for. I'll keep trying though, cause it's fun.
