the eyes of sanity?

ok, so i think i'm holding it together quite well. i rushed in tonight from work to do some very last minute preparations for the first viewing. so there i am trying to put up lining paper, hoping that by some miracle it will dry in time for me to paint it before they turn up............when i get a phonecall telling me that " oh my phones been on charge all day and i just turned it on. the estate agent left a message saying that it has been changed to monday." to which came the response " thanks for f@*£#%g telling me." real helpful i know but as anyone who has ever bought and sold a house will know it can get just a tad stressful at times. i did receive an apology for her being useless with her mobile. however i can't take the piss too much as i didn't notice my own phone was missing until i got in from work.

fortunately all this means that we can now pace out the last few jobs and get another weekends work in on it before that first viewing. the other bonus was that i had only left my phone at the office. am now having one of those weird "not with mobile" moments. i am not addicted to my phone but i do have the game "worms" on it and i guess it's become almost the video recorder as it's just a trumped up clock. it's true, more often than not if i ask someone the time they will check their phone. what happened to wearing a watch?
