another bird blip............

so that must mean that it's the weekend and i have time to get out and rattle of a few shots in the daylight.
sadly today i was without my assistant as baby McD was housebound due to having a very nasty cough and cold. so as i said i was on my own which did make feeding and trying to snap the birds a bit tricky.
still i went to the park with coffee in hand and much to my surprise i was followed by a squirrel as soon as i got there. now normally they are pretty fearless but still keep their distance, but not today. this little fecker was inches from me as soon as i started walking to mu usual spot. not only that but he brought three other friends with him. all equally as brazen. in fact today they were taking bread right out of my hand (the bread was for the birds not them but i couldn't resist their little rat faces today). apparently though this was not enough for one of them at least who decided that my coffee looked far more interesting. just seconds after i took this shot the inquisitive little shit pushed it off the wall. i took this as a sign of protest against my choice in coffee until he jumped down of the wall and started drinking it! guess i'll bring two next time.

anyway was going to go with this but it just seemed so dull and this hit the cutting room floor too.

i did however take one for squirk. i know you have a fondness for little furry animals but even you couldn't love THIS!

so what tune to use? well went onto you tube and typed "random" into the search bar and it brought up this. never heard of her before and prob never listen again but it's good to seek out different things in life.

still had this in my head today. feels kinda apt most of the time just now.
