Cheese and wine is mighty fine

We've just sliced into the Corsican cheese - we bought a whole one from a Spar in Bonifaccio. A Yorkshire Terrier would have run away with it at the airport in Paris if he'd had a chance (I thought he was straining at the lead to say 'hello' to me, but then I noticed his eyes on the bag holding the smelly cheese and him licking his lips).

We're drinking Chilean wine (a nice Merlot) as we didn't manage to take back any Corsican wine - damn those striking TGV people! The Corsican wine we tried was very nice - the red from Ajaccio tasted like a rose (the 'e' should have an accent; I've never tasted a rose without an accent).

I bought my winter coat today - Leather Lane market was a-frenzy with ladies buying coats. Dorothy Perkins was empty (even with its '20 per cent today' discount). The market wins! Well, it's half the price with a better selection.
