Debra and H's Project Impossible Project!
First, thank you so much for your lovely comments on both mine and Sarah's journals yesterday...what lovely guys you all are :-))
I've been following the Impossible Project almost since it started and I've been experimenting with their film and a couple of Polaroid cameras with varying results. Last night I received an email which really excited me. It stated that all the Impossible Project films were suitable for emulsion lifting. Well I've always wanted to have a go at that and it was a good day for a 'project'...all grey and dull.
Henry and I watched a couple of You Tube instruction videos and set to work creating our first emulsion lift masterpiece using a kettle, two glass dishes, a craft knife, two soft paintbrushes and some watercolour board...amazingly we had all the tools to hand!
I dare say it's not the best emulsion lift in the world but it's ours...our first one...we did it and boy we had fun...and Henry got a chemistry lesson into the bargain!
We're off to the theatre tonight to see Jack and the Beanstalk so I'm blipping a bit early :-)
Have a great evening. I'll catch up with you all later.
