Hippiefied
I'm not sure 'hippie-fied' is even a word....but it is in my vocabulary. Today after working in Landon's class, I decided it was time to finish Loren's vest for Halloween. I found an old leather vest at a thrift store with the intention of making it hippie-fied. I cut the bottom to make it straight instead of a 'v' and found some fabric to add to the bottom. I freaked him out because I didn't cut trim the extra fabric off of the bottom before I showed it to him, so he thought I made him a dress! I couldn't match the browns exactly, but it was the best I could do with what the fabric store had. I fringed the fabric and added a fun peace sign to the back. I'm in the middle of adding beads to the fringes, so it isn't complete in this picture. It will go well with the jeans that I 'hippiefied' as well (I added tie dye bell bottoms to them). Fun!!!! :D
