Black Cliff
The tide was in at Newgale and time was short for a walk today as I have to be in work soon. We ended up at Black Cliff, a stretch of Pembrokeshire Coast Path between Newgale and Nolton Haven.
A short but exhilerating walk. The wind was fresh and mild and the sea choppy with little white horses as far as the eye could see.
In the bay the tankers strained at their anchors each waiting their turn for entry to the Milford Haven itself.
Bear wore himself out charging up and down the paths, smelling and seeing rabbits but never getting close. I'm sure they tease him on purpose! Still, it all makes for a satisfyingly worn out dog that just wants to snore gently in the shade later in the day!
It was the sky that caught my eye for todays blip. Vibrant blue but 'scarred' as if by claw. The moon was clear (but not so in the photo).
Bear is not easily visible as he's in the shade of the photo, charging back up the path to me.
