Plip Plop

True to forecast, rain is here. Not even Bear gets walked (though he usually does, regardless of the weather. He loves the rain but I simply cannot be bothered today).
So, what for today's blip? The orchid on the window sill caught my eye. It's been there since January, rarely watered, largely ignored, given by a friend after Mammy died. But today it stood out as a vibrant contrast to the greyness outside.
I am impressed. I look at it in a new light. Continuous flowering. Ignored and unappreciated. Yes, impressed.
