We're leaving on a jet plane

Sitting waiting for a gate to be announced. It has been an exceptionally long day, tyres being changed early doors, then bathroom maintenance involving grouting and sealing around the bath. A pretty horrible job in the range of different jobs to be done around the house but such a nice feeling when it is done. It is something in our house which we call a non grunge bathroom. However, why do so-called anti mould products always succumb to mould.

So we all need a holiday which is lucky as we are off to Zante for a week. I realised that this is the fourth time that Madame and I have been to Greece or the Greek islands and this is for a reason. The people are very friendly and the food is stunning, even for vegetarians. That said, we really haven't travelled much. So hopefully we'll be swimming with fish and giving them bread to eat avoiding the mini-sting rays aka a tiny flat fish which got our eldest panicking as if it were a white shark.

Lovely walk to and from picking up the car, the leaves were stunning, I'll try some autumnal shots on my return.
