Hylton Castle.

Another day another day out, this time to Hylton Castle, but we were disappointed as we could not get inside.
This castle was built in the 1400's by Sir William de Hylton, but can now only be viewed from the outside. This is probably to safe guard the ghost hunters who visit the castle.
Hylton Castle is famously known for the ghost of the Cauld Lad of Hylton, a stable boy who was killed at the castle. When the kitchen was tidy his ghost threw around dishes,but if it was untidy he cleared it up. Being young when he died his ghost also played tricks on people.
Before we went for a trip out, we had been to the hospital. Great news. It has been decided that my ankle is not broken.(3 different decisions in 2 weeks)Now I have a big boot covering my foot and leg, but I can take it off for bed, or a bath and I can walk on it. This is progress and I was very happy with the outcome.
