Sunday Civilisation
After my late night i got up fairly late (for me). My boy came back over and we went to Asda to get a chicken and some bits and spent the rest of the morning, well early afternoon by then, making a roast. I want to say it is the best roast i have ever made but it's the only full on roast i have ever made so... It was pretty crazy good, though i say it myself. I even made apple crumble with apples conveniently brought round by the students next door from the tree in their garden! Becca and Jamie and Elizabeth came over and between us we somehow ate almost everything.
Half way through the meal we realised how grown up and civilised we seem to have suddenly become. Inviting people round for a Sunday roast... even listening to pretty civilised music! Gone are the days of shove a pizza in the oven! (Actually i am sure that will happen again many a time.) And then as it was such a gorgeous day we went for a late afternoon stroll and felt even more like our parents!
Managed to get the house respectable enough for when the Ma and Pa return to it i hope and get my train back to my wee box of a room in Cardiff safe and sound. What a whirlwind weekend!
Ps: just backblipped the past 2 days, please do take a peak.
