Manic Day
My day started in Swansea and went via Cardiff to Reading and then on to London to a gig in the evening. This is Swansea Bay in the morning in between the rain. I wish you could see this bigger, over to the left you can see it raining out to sea, it was a pretty cool panorama. And i like it because i actually took this as a panorama and didn't just crop it like yesterday!
I went with Becca to see The Cat Empire in the evening. They are an Australian kind of ska like band that get you dancing whether you like it or not. We went to see them a few years ago and just like then they gave the 1000's of people there a good couple of hours of fun! They had some new songs we didn't know which were mostly pretty good too actually. I wish i'd taken my camera now but i didn't entirely trust Brixton and left it at home.
All was well until we came to get a train home. Some of those meddling engineering works meant not only was it a train that stops at every single stop possible but it also terminated at Maidenhead from where they provided a bus service. It was far too late and i was far too tired and it had been a far too long and busy day to be faffing about getting buses at 1.30am but we made it home in one piece eventually!
