Clare & David got Married - The Aftermath

Got in late last night after a great wedding & reception. I'd been a bit apprehensive about my role of taking photos of the guests arriving at the church, but it all went really well. It helped that the weather was dry and fairly bright. I'd chosen my spot previously and as the guests walked round I simply asked "Can I take your photo?" and they all duly obliged.

So this morning I got up, uploaded the photos onto the pc and started looking through them, cropped a few, adjusted the exposure on a couple. Then the cold sweats started. Certainly hadn't overdone it last night, but probably the mixture of the various drinks had done for me. I'll leave out the details, but I only got back to sorting the photos out at seven in the evening.

While I'd been indisposed, Youngshanks was off to watch Woking v Eastleigh in the FA Cup 4th Qualifying Round. He and a group of friends had started off watching our local club Welwyn Garden City in the Extra Preliminary Round, then following the winner of each match into the next round. Anyway Mrs L was taking him to the station and while reversing out the garage, concentrating on not clipping the wing mirrors, she suddenly noticed a car behind her madly flashing its lights. I don't actually know how close they got, but they all survived.

It was David & Clare with a gift of a floral wall hanging from the wedding (The honeymoon starts at the end of the week and they're even going back to work for a few days beforehand!). Unfortunately this caused Youngshanks to just miss his train, but fortunately he still got to Woking in time and after a 3-2 victory he'll be watching the First Round Proper draw tomorrow to see where he's going next. Unlike the previous rounds this isn't regionalised and could be anywhere in England or Wales.

Mrs L had the forethought to think I may not be up to blipping today, so thanks to her you have Clare & David's floral wall hanging - Thank you Mrs. L and thank you David & Clare with apologies for not thanking you in person, although I feel you must share some of the blame for plying us with so many complimentary drinks.
