Ocean Beach

Headed along Whangarei Harbour today looking for views to Blip. Was rather disappointed with the first 10+ bays (bad light, the tide was out, very stony, poor view) and getting concerned that today would be a wasted day.

Last stop was Ocean Beach, the last bay past Whangarei Heads and out of the harbour, sitting on the South Pacific Ocean. Wow! Wonderful weather, deserted beach, golden sands - need I say more?

This is the just the type of location where, in the good old days with my trusted OM10, I would get halfway down the beach and run out of film! Don't you just love digital?

It is Labour weekend in NZ so I get to take the day off on Monday (nothing new there then!!)
