Holding it all together

I've been waiting for a day like today, sunny, with strong blue sky and wisps of high level cloud, to capture the image of this rusted metal cross-brace vainly trying to hold together this crumbling old flint and brick wall, which runs along a twitten in Lewes. On the other side modern dwellings are rising, yet this old wall has been retained.
