Menhirs and cacti

A fantastic day trip to the coast brought us to Filitosa. It was closed because we were the only tourists for miles around, but a very kind gentleman espied us from his house across the way and opened up the site just for us. It was magical beind in the area where people were living 5,500 years ago, seeing their statues and dwellings. Amazing. A place of wonder.

We followed this with a paddle on Porto Pollo beach where we were the only people one the sand. It was very luxurious having such beautiful spaces all to ourselves.
