Who knew it'd be so much fun...

Well today was fun to say the least. Had been asked a few weeks back to make a friends Halloween costume, me being me, said yes before I even thought about it, and before I knew it I had agreed to making a full corpse bride costume for her. After a bit if thought was suggested she buy a dress and we can alter it to suit the theme, so off she went looking for an old wedding dress.

The dress arrived today, and to be honest, it's not the nicest if dresses, but is perfect for what were planning. All over lace literally from head to toe, and then an under layer of a nasty polyester satin affair, perfect to melt with a heat gun! Not the first thing you should really think when you see a wedding dress, but hey maybe I'm a little bit sick and twisted.

First things first was ofcourse to get someone into the dress and have fun with it. Pushing it past room doors on a mannequin unaided got quite a response, having Eilidh wear it and run round the college grounds for some photo oops for her to then literally roll around the grass and fund numerous puddles to run through. Then out came the inks and the spray bottles for us to start colouring it to the appropriate grey muddy look.

Lots of fun was had and no doubt more to come in the near future to finish off this dress!
