We moved into this flat in September last year. Suddenly in January, 7 months pregnant and on maternity leave, I noticed something out of our bedroom window - far into the distance. Had it been there before? How could I not have noticed it? When daddybean got home from work I showed it to him and he proudly informed me he had noticed it and yes it had been there all along. A few days later it was gone again. It took me about a week to realise that it was moving up and down and for some reason I became totally fascinated with the gas works. After babybean was born 2 months later it went down and has stayed down up until yesterday. I no longer have a fascination for it but it makes me laugh when I see it up and I always make a point of letting everyone know...
