rough and tumble

This wasn't the blip I intended for today...

We have had one of those days. Making breakfast I managed to scald myself quite badly and ended up taking a trip to a&e (first ever trip for myself in all my 23 years of life). Lots of vaseline and one huge dressing later and I'm back at home when babybean gets a little overzealous playing on the bed and takes a tumble. Just a little bop on the head though, thank goodness.

Then the day took a turn for the better when we discovered that daddybean's sister is expecting twins! We have been keeping the secret of her pregnancy for weeks until her scan today and then there was a surprise for everyone when they saw not one but two little cousins for babybean.

I decided on this picture because despite the bumps and burns of today, we are still smiling at the end of it.
