Goalie Cam

I made a "board pod" that allowed me to put a camera and wide angle lens inside the goal during my son's soccer game. It's triggered remotely with a radio slave transmitter that's attached to my camera on the sidelines.

Although I used the Canon EOS 5D MarkII and a Canon 16-35mm for a very wide angle view, the kids appear quite small due to their size and the wide angel perspective. Unless the action is VERY close to the rig, it won't be a very compelling image.

Next time I may mount the camera higher and more in the center of the goal.

It'll give the players something to aim at....
