nails

For yesterdays wedding I've painted my nails for the first time ever and I thought I should really blip it since it's not very likely to happen anytime soon again. What a palaver to get the polish on the nails and to keep it there. The left hand was fine and dried as it should whereas the right hand kept getting smudged because I wasn't patient enough to let it dry and started doing things. Patience.

Spent the day rather hung over but busy what with a birthday party in morning and tidying in afternoon and welcoming my niece and boyfriend in the late afternoon. In the evening I was drinking red wine and whisky, not too sure if that really is the best hangover cure yet but it didn't do me any harm.

S an M are off to Glencoe and then Skye and will be back to help me with the girls when B goes off to Orkney for four days.
