My day on the fridge

well, sort of. I missed quite a few letters, no 'f' for example so all the words I might have wanted to be there couldn't because of lack of letters.

Typical day at office, work, banter, very informative at times, thanks to google most questions get answered or explored rather quickly and with images (not always the right ones but that's beside the point) and then we get back to work and the day turns out to be quite productive. Then, at the silly hour I go down to check on the basement again to find a hole in the wall in the basement that looks like a very small Maneken Piss is standing behind it and just cannot stop.

Well, frighteningly the water level just started to mount rather quickly and we went on to build dams and try to keep the other rooms in the basement as dry as possible. After a lot of hoovering of water and an installation of a pump we left and are hoping that the rainfall during the night will not make things much worse. I will not wear impractical clothes tomorrow, I may have to hoover up water again etc. However, secretly I really like this. It means that my office job is as varied as it gets, one moment I'm sitting at the computer, thinking about how to layout this or the other and next thing I'm lifting heavy bags of salt and blocks in order to create a dam!
