Lazing on a sunny afternoon

A fairly lazy day all round.

Having missed a bit of school this week with all the meetings, we did a sort of Sunday School... philosophy. It went ok, I think, though Conor wandered off totally bored about half way through.

Very windy day - which always makes the kids go a bit wild (or perhaps it was the philosophy?) but happily they kept their wildness to themselves. They found this big fat lizard lying in the sun for me. I think he might have spotted me. It was a bit of a lizard day: with less sun around they are bolder about staying in the sun even when you get quite close. Alternative: Lizard vs spider (home win)

The power was on and off this evening, interrupting our watching House, so instead I read Zola by candlelight. It felt appropriate.
