Let's play conkers

I know I promised... but I got home from my Grandad's Birthday bash so late that there was no sunshine. What's a girl to do?? It's a dark blip.

This time I was flying solo, which made all the hilarity and giggling slightly more embarrassing! I dropped various household items into a bowl of water in the dark and tried to capture the result. There were a few of my hand when I took the shot too soon.... a lot of perfectly still water, when I took the shot too late and of course... a very wet floor.

This is a conker, found out of the corner of my kitchen where my 3 year old placed it to "keep the spiders away?!?"
